Blogmas DAY 25: We Made It!

Welcome to the last day of Blogmas & Merry Christmas! Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season no matter what you celebrate. My birthday was the 22nd so I feel like I’ve been celebrating Christmas for four days haha. It’s been fun spending time with family and relaxing. There was nothing too elaborate, but it’s just so nice to be sitting down to a homemade meal with some good conversation. If you want to check out some of my other posts from blogmas you can do that here!

Here’s a couple pictures to recap the last few days…

A Night Out in Philly with Trevor

Trevor and I decided to go to Philly for a couple hours to unwind after finals and celebrate for my birthday. We had no idea there were festivities on every corner you turned in Philly, but when we got out of the parking garage we found out there was a german-like Christmas village. It looked similar to the one in North side Bethlehem. It was adorable and there were so many shops. We decided to stop for some crepes, which were sub-par, but we also got macarons there were absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend the honey and lavender macaron from Woops!

There was this cute wishing wall in the middle of the Christmas village with people writing all times of holiday wishes on hearts. I really liked one that said “forget the mistakes and remember the lesson, to new friends” I also really liked another one that said “wishing for more time”. I feel like I’m always mistakes, especially at my age where you’re trying to figure everything out, but it’s ok because you learn from them. So I thought that wish resonated with me. The other heart wishing for more time is something I wish were real. Sometimes I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day haha.

In addition to checking out the cute German-like Christmas village in Dilworth Park, we also got to see the philly gardens right across the street. Last year Trevor and I visited the same park and I was amazed to see more lights more decorations and even a really cool light show, which we caught right as we were leaving.

Festive Pup

Kobe couldn’t come with me to Christmas so Trevor volunteered to take him for a few days during the busy holiday season. I was so upset he wouldn’t be spending his first Christmas with me so I told Trevor to take some pictures and send them to me. He looks so cute I couldn’t resist including them in the last blogmas post!

I’ve had so much fun creating blogmas posts and sharing little pieces of my everyday life with you guys. Hopefully next year I’ll get a little better at posting during the 25 days, but I’m glad I took the plunge to try it out. Did you do blogmas this year? What did you like about it? What didn’t you like about it?
